With the trademark WIDER 1 expanding cockpit, the WIDER 1 offers double the surface area of a conventional 42-footer. Opening up at the push of a button – the process takes just 12 seconds – expanding amidships to provide a deck space of 18m2 when at anchor.

Combining high performance with low fuel consumption, the WIDER 1  is equipped with twin 480hp Cummins engines which drive her to over 50 knots – an impressive speed for a 42’ cruising yacht.

These performance figures are largely due to the stepped hull, designed by offshore racing specialist Mark Wilson, as well as Arneson surface drive propellers. 70% of the WIDER 1  is made of carbon in order to achieve a relatively light displacement and excellent power to weight ratio. As a result, the WIDER 1  offers enhanced efficiency and has a greater range than other yachts in its size category.

The heart of the yacht can transform to fulfill a number of different functions. The lunchtime dinette, built entirely in carbon fibre can quickly be turned either into a comfortable sundeck or smart chaise longue. This area also has a fitted outdoor galley with a teppanyaki griddle and an icebox for chilling drinks and keeping fresh fruit to hand.

She is berthed near Monte Carlo Marine, offers accommodation for 4 persons and up to 18 persons for day cruises.

Her charter rate is Euro 3,500/day.
